More pictures that go with my last blog below

To know NY is to love her....kind of. And I just realized there is a swear on that sign. That is terrible. I apologize for that. Honestly, what a waste of good dolls.
I know this was not Libby's first day at school, but it was for us. As we were hunting down the famous donut shop, we also visited Libby's school of nursing, NYU. We are so proud of you Libby. You are now half way there. You can do this. You always do. Good job, and good job Mark supporting her. She could not do this without your support.
A permanent reminder of a time we will never forget...9/11
This is so familiar of Mark. He is such a computer head. But then so are all of our kids, especially Benny. I love this one cause it is just sweet of Mark. We loved staying with the Miller's in their adorable studio, so perfectly located across from the Park. Yes, "the park". It was so fun riding our bikes there. So impressed with their ability to maneuver the subways. I love the tile art work in all of the subway stops. All very different and unique.
Love birds still...forever love birds. NYC is a great place to have someone's hand to hold. We went to a little farmers market, it reminded me of Naperville's farmer's market I would frequent every Saturday. I loved going early. I loved the Gladiola's. Loved getting a manicure for nothing in NY????
We rented a car and headed down to NYC, the big apple, Manhattan, "MY TOWN" according to Frank Sinatra, to see Libby and Mark. And here we see Libby cooking up a delicious meal for us bedraggled travelers. What wonderful hosts all of our children are. All made us feel so welcome, loved and cared for. Thanks to you all, you too Dane and Tracie.
I think my lobster had previously eaten a HUGE meal before he became mine. Yuck....but he was delish. Thanks for escorting us to the fishmonger.
Treasures from the sea. I love to comb the beach. We had a very peaceful stroll on the beach. Dad took a little rest while I searched for wondrous pieces from the sea. I love the ocean and the beach. There is something compelling about it. It beacons and we come.
Too bad that bump is only a pillow. I wonder if Wynn will ever get that big, which really is not THAT big. Go get em WYnNy, you can do it. It looks great on you.
This huge prime rib was free for the taking but James couldn't lift it, or maybe he just pretended he couldn't so as to not to have to apprehend the "hind" of a bovine type, so we had to leave it behind. Isn't that amazing. There was even white quartz in it. That looks just like fat in a steak. Wow, I love rocks. You know I do.
Here is a superior looking couple we found living amongst the rocks on the beach. They look pretty good don't you think. We wanted to take them home with us...so we did. The stone on that beach was remarkable. Beauty everywhere you looked. The moss was bright yellow. Gorgeous.
Now there is a good lookin couple! Maine is good for my hair. That lighthouse was commissioned by George Washington. Pretty neat! And there are rose bushes at that site with the biggest rose hips I have ever seen. I covet them. Yes, I do.
It was love at first sight. Or at least that is what this looks like to me. Oh you two. You are two peas in a pod. Thanks James for taking time out of your INCREDIBLY BUSY study schedule to spend time with us. We know it was a tough time for you to have us come but as always you were a gentleman about it. Love you. So here we are in Portland, Maine. Wynn drove two hours to pick us up in Boston and we had lobster, walked on the beautiful beach and ate healthy. Loved those early morning bagels and the shopping too,
Eli obviously knows his mom is not holding him but Clara, always determined, does such a good job being a big sister. Good job Clara, YOU TOO Eli, good job being the perfect little brother. We love you sooo much. Mema & pepa love you. You both look so beautiful and handsome for church. Clara loves church and especially nursery. She loves her nursery leaders. What a blessing. Bless all nursery leaders. Especially the good ones.
Ben's new office at the Sacramento office. I had to sneak this picture because we all know how Ben loves to have his picture taken...but he is such a good sport when we do. Thanks Benjamin. We love you.
Pretty mama Emy with her Clara.Emy is such an amazing, loving, lovely, patient, smart, level headed, mother who teaches her children the ways of the Lord every day. She reads and teaches. She disciplines and loves. She sings and dances. She plays and nurtures. She is all those things and more. And her dear husband is happy, not fussy, laid back, sweet, loving, funny, cheerful, loves Taco Bell, is an Ironman and more importantly a man who loves his wife and kids. We are so blessed. So blessed.
My little sweet-tart cooking up a storm while dining, "Persian"
Here are pix of our visits with the Brasher's, Stewart's and Miller's. Emy slipped away to the washroom, Ben and Nels were busy chatting, Eli was sitting in a car seat at my feet and there was no one but me to tell Clara she could not concoct this delicious beverage. It was so adorable. She made me laugh as she added a little of this and a little of that, then she would stir vigorously while clinking the sides of the glass. The light on her little face was perfect. I love light and Clara.

  2. We met your missionary (I forget his name already) at the grocery store in Cedar City! I was visiting my sisters, and this cute young blond guy comes up to me and asks if I'm a Hensel. My first thougt was that it was a former student of Erin's, and so I told him that was my maiden name and began pointing in Erin's direction, thinking she would recognize him. Then he told me he knew you and had just returned from his mission to Canada. What a small world this is! Glad to know you are doing well!
