MTC in photos
Here are some pictures that represent my time at the MTC. My room, my study room in 9M, the sea of missionaries at the cafeteria at the end of "feeding time" when it was cleared out, pictures of the MTC etc. I have loved every minute spent there. I am grateful for that experience as it has prepared me in a way I would not have experienced had I not attended. I loved meeting the missionaries and sitting down with different districts and zones for each meal. It was so sweet how the entire table of Elders would stand each time I would join them. And they would usually take my tray away. I love the leaders down there and the employees of the MTC are the best around. My instructors will stay in my heart forever. I am grateful, beyond words for them. I was blessed, by chance, to meet 6-7 missionaries including the Davis' who will be in or who are currently serving in Montreal now. We look forward to meeting all 90 of our missionaries. I don't want to go through the whole goodbye thing with my family. I just want to be transported there now. I included a picture of our beloved Elder Robert D. Hales of the Quorum on the Twelve as he is the wonderful servant of the Lord, Apostle of God, who first called us into his office to inquire as to whether or not it was a good time for us to serve. It was a very tough time for us as we had just started building a home. He then called us again less than a year later when the timing was much better. The house was built, Nels had a job, Dane was married, Libby had recovered from being hit by a car and my mom had recovered from having a total knee replacement. I know things will all work out, the Lord will watch over our family, our whole family while we are gone. That I am assured of.I know of Heavenly Father's love for us and for our families. We are blessed way beyond what we deserve.
